Chacala (again)

We headed north from Banderas Bay. Since we liked Chacala so much, we decided to stay longer this time.   While we were there we did a few hikes, Diane took the taxi to a nearby town, Las Varas, with another cruiser, Jan, for some wandering around, lunch and shopping. We did a few small boat projects and enjoyed the warm water, great weather and beautiful scenery. After two weeks we felt it was really time to move on again.

Chacala is very dog friendly.  One night there were six boats and seven dogs. Every boat had a dog and Luna and Tiki made for a total of seven. All of the beach restaurants, except for the real expensive one, allow dogs.
