Emerald Star

We went:

Inland to the Delta (near Sacramento, upper left of map)

South from San Francisco Bay to the southern tip of Baja (that's the 700+ mile long peninsula just south of California)

North to La Paz on the east side of Baja

Across the Sea of Cortez, a.k.a. Gulf of California, to Mazatlan

South to Puerto Vallarta (Banderas Bay)

North to Altata (north of Mazatlan)

Across to La Paz

North along the east side of Baja peninsula to Bay of Los Angeles.

Across (south and east) to San Carlos, Sonora on the mainland.

Back to Baja - arriving at Bahia Conception then headed south to La Paz.

Ray & Ray brought the boat back around the southern tip of Baja and up the coast to Ventura, CA. This is called the "Baja Bash" since it's mostly upwind and into the swell and current.

Ray & Diane finished the trip from Ventura back to Alameda.

Us Boatdogs skipped the section from La Paz to Santa Cruz. We decided the house in Santa Cruz was more cozy & comfortable, especially after being away for over ten dog years!
