We were in the Delta for three weeks. The weather was unusually good. It's often over 100 degrees but it was under 90 the whole time we were there. A pleasant surprise. We got lots done, but still had time for plenty of R & R.
The boat was "unplugged" the entire time, meaning we anchored and were not at any docks. Also, we had no internet access, at all - kinda nice for a change.
About ten days into the trip we met up with the Oakland Yacht Club, OYC, Delta Daze cruise at Decker Island. It's an annual week or two trip to the Delta. We were with them from Decker Island to Steamboat Slough. There were lots of fun and interesting things going on each day. The highlight was a trip to Tinsley Island with a tour of the lighthouse.

After leaving our slip in Alameda we went to Sausalito for a few days. It was fun to be a tourist and then go to the boat anchored in Richardson Bay. After leaving Sausalito we went "upriver" towards Stockton and Sacramento. Here are the places we anchored:
McNear's Beach
Montezuma Slough
Potato Slough
Decker Island
Potato Slough, again
Three River Reach
Steamboat Slough
Montezuma Slough, again
Then went back to the Oakland Yacht Club dock and bought several parts and gadgets for the boat.
